Mr. Sanoop Narendran is an independent health science researcher and environmental health activist. His teaching focuses on preventive medicine and healthcare methods based on modern health science. He has been conducting classes and camps in various parts of Kerala since January 2014. Despite his academic field of Electronics, he began independent studies on various subjects after realizing that one major cause of all human problems is a lack of proper education in all aspects of human life.
Since his engineering graduation in 2007, he has been engaged in research studies and activities in the areas of environment, health, agriculture, right living education, and social justice, which he considers to be of great social relevance.
From 2009 to 2013, he served in Watershed Development—Soil and Water Conservation (Environmental Restoration Project), Rural Development, Agriculture, and Health Literacy of Rural People.
In 2013, he started studying health, lifestyle, diet, and the environment that influences health full-time. From 2015 on, he started conducting camps and classes to educate people.
For the past several years, I have been constantly learning about health (at the individual, environmental, and social levels) and putting my efforts toward fulfilling a sustainable society at all environmental and social levels. In today’s consumer culture, our very way of life depletes life and health. There is not a single person today who is not affected by mental stress.
We don’t get proper knowledge today. We don’t acquire the right skills. We believe what the media tells us. Our healthcare system is built on treating patients after they become ill. In the modern socio-economic system, the disease is profit-making. It doesn’t tell you what to do to live a healthy life. Our social systems have no interest in health knowledge reaching the common man.
We have been learning this for the past several years. We have a large library. We are constantly accessing and studying health-related research books. As I read and understand the research knowledge on how to live disease-free and control or mitigate diseases, I wonder why none of this knowledge is reaching us, the common people. The place where I was born and brought up is a village called Kannapuram in the Kannur district. My life partner Ammu, and I live near Dharmasthala in Karnataka. I come to Kerala to conduct each camp every month. I am not a doctor. And Hygienics Life is not a treatment system. It’s all about knowing our body mechanisms and healthily tuning them to optimize overall health.
I consider my life experiences and the vast knowledge gained from many independent pieces of research over the last several years as my qualifications to teach it well to others. Because whatever I teach is not only tested in my own life and succeeded but also evidence-based, tested, and approved by modern medicine after testing on numerous patients. These are scientific, research-based, proven methodologies. In the last 5 years, more than 300 classes have been taken at various scientific venues, including schools, colleges, and doctors’ conferences. More than 100 camps were conducted.
By 2025, my dream is to establish a health and life school, a sustainable life commune that will benefit the community. That is the purpose of all current activities. I am so grateful to my loved ones, campers, and online participants for their full support.
“We welcome you all to participate in our programs and activities to transform your health and life."
Love
Sanoop Narendran
